Can RAC Auto Windscreens help me?
We stock all types of glazing for over 10,000 different vehicles plus we have over 120 Fitting Centres, 15 of which are Business Centres, and more than 800 mobile units around the country. There will probably be a windscreen fitting centre near you - or we can send out one of our mobile units.

My windscreen is only slightly damaged - do I need to replace it?
A chip in your windscreen will only get worse if neglected and cracked windscreens are a major reason for MOT failure. However, stone chips can be repaired using our unique resin injection process.

Our Fitting and Business Centres are open from 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday and from 8.30am to 12.30pm on Saturdays. What's the link between RAC and Auto Windscreens?
RAC plc (formerly Lex Service plc) is the parent company of RAC and bought the Auto Windscreens business in March 2001. Auto Windscreens is part of RAC and trades as RAC Auto Windscreens. Auto Windscreens was bought to extend RAC's range of services and is an important part of RAC's strategy for providing a complete range of individual and business motoring solutions.

Do you manufacture your own glass?
Yes we do. Our factory in Chesterfield, the most modern of its type in Europe, produces over 250,000 replacement windscreens every year - all to stringent Original Equipment Manufacturer quality standards.

What's your guarantee of quality?
All our repairs on laminated windscreens are guaranteed for 5 years and all other automotive re-glazing jobs, including windscreen replacement, are guaranteed for 3 years.
