RAC Select Standard cover comprises:
Roadside
In the event of a breakdown, we provide fast and efficient roadside assistance to help you get your vehicles back on the road as quickly as possible.
Main features of cover:
- Assistance anywhere in UK (plus the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands)
- If the vehicle cannot be repaired at the roadside, RAC will take the driver and up to 7 passengers to a local garage within a ten mile radius of the breakdown.
- Maximum vehicle weight is 3.5tonnes, maximum length 5.5m including tow bar, maximum caravan/trailer length 7.6m including tow bar.
- RAC's service covers labour costs only. Parts costs are payable by the party which has the cover.
At Home
Roadside Assistance cover also extends to include the address at which the vehicle is registered and the area within a ¼ mile radius of that address.

Recovery
For those times when the vehicle cannot be repaired at the roadside, RAC will arrange for the vehicle, its driver and up to seven passengers to be recovered to a single address anywhere in the UK.

This is a special package for minibus operators. Cover includes Onwards Travel ? in the event of a breakdown, drivers and passengers can continue their journey with the minimum disruption possible.
Pay-on-use
RAC Select Choice involves a small registration fee and then pay-on-use with the following level of cover and range of benefits.
